Wilma Oliver Obituary

Wilma Jean Oliver, age 90, of Flag Pond, passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at her residence while she was surrounded by her family. She was raised in Washington County, Tennessee to the late Coy and Stella Miller Davis.

Wilma was an amazingly strong Christian woman who was always involved in her church wherever she moved to. She had many roles in her life: daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, gardener, bus driver, an exceptional seamstress, and handy woman. She loved animals, the outdoors, hiking, bowling, and taking care of her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Wilma was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick Dale Oliver who passed away on August 26, 2022; one brother, Ronald Davis and one sister, Belva Carder.

She is survived by a son, Randy Oliver of Flag Pond; her daughter, Linda McCurry and husband, Dennis of Louisville, Tennessee; two grandchildren: Jonathan McCurry of Hernando Beach, Florida, Kara Norton and husband, Ryan of Mount Pleasant, Tennessee; three great grandchildren: Lilly McCurry, Sydney Norton, and Jackson Norton.

No memorial services at this time.
