Warren Shelton Obituary

Warren Lee Shelton, age 86, Jonesborough, passed away Wednesday September 23, 2020 at the Johnson City Medical Center after a lengthy illness. He was a native of Flag Pond and a son of the late Roscoe and Emily Cutshaw Shelton.

Warren honorably served in the US Army. He retired in 1999 from Dreicor, Inc. after many years as a steel worker. He was of the Church of God Faith.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one daughter, Sharon Kay Shelton; one grandson, John Michael Shelton; four brothers: Doyle Shelton, Allen Shelton, Winson “Boonie” Shelton, Lewis “Chun” Shelton; four sisters: Darden Brown, Thelma Fender, Dorothy Rice, Pansy Deal.

Warren leaves behind one brother, Garland Shelton; three great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, many nieces, and nephews.

Per his wishes no services will be held.
