Vivian Cole Obituary

Vivian Leigh Laws Cole, age 76, Johnson City, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 07, 2023, at the Johnson City Medical Center. She is a daughter of the late George W. and Anna Jane Deyton Laws. Vivian lived most of her life in Johnson City.

She retired from Johnson City Memorial Hospital where she worked as a nurse for many years. Vivian was a member of Covey Rock Freewill Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading books and watching T.V.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie Boyd Cole on July 27, 2009; two nieces: Donna Lynn Laws and Edwina Wampler.

Vivian leaves behind to cherish her memory, one brother, Edward Laws of Johnson City; three great nieces: Danielle Jones, Amanda Laws and Autumn Laws; one great nephew, George Wampler; several great-great nieces and nephews also survive.

Vivian’s graveside service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, March 11, 2023, in the Roselawn Memory Gardens. Everyone is asked to meet at the cemetery by 11:50 a.m. Saturday.
