Victoria Shelton

Victoria Shelton, age 73, of Erwin, passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at the Center on Aging and Health. She is the daughter of the late Charlie Bell Shelton and Polly Hensley Shelton. Victoria lived most of her life in Erwin.

She enjoyed working as a waitress at different restaurants before she retired. Victoria loved her grandchildren dearly and enjoyed spending time with them and talking about them with others.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her three sons: Danny Norton (Margaret) of Chuckey, Lester “Jr” Norton of Erwin, and Randy Norton (Amy) of San Antonio, Texas; five grandchildren: Dylan Norton, Nikki Norton, Aaliyah Norton, Avery Norton, and Azel Norton; two great grandchildren: Faith Barlow, and Grant Barlow; several sisters; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, in the Union Chapel Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 10:20 a.m. on Wednesday.
