Timothy “Eli” Lynn Kuykendall, Jr., age 34, Johnson City, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Thursday, September 8, 2022. He lived most of his life in Johnson City and is a son of Timothy Dennis Kuykendall and the late Valvet Love Valenzuala.
Eli was a certified welder. He loved playing video games, playing his guitar and singing. Eli liked to help others work in their yards and fix their cars. He enjoyed working on his computer, building, and tinkering with various electronics. Eli always enjoyed debating political topics with his friends and family.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his sister, Erin Kuykendall.
Eli leaves behind to cherish his memory, father, Timothy “Tim” Kuykendall; three children: Autumn Blaze Kuykendall, Ember Moon Kuykendall, and Zayden Kuykendall; two brothers: Donald Joseph Brown and James Ethan Kuykendall; two sisters: Natasha Ann Kuykendall and Bethany Lorraine DeLaney; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Eli’s family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at Robert Ledford Funeral Home. Pastor Dale Poe will officiate the 7:00 p.m. service. Committal will be held in Martin’s Creek Cemetery at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the funeral home by 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday to go in procession to the cemetery.
