Obituary
Thomas “Tom” Francis Robinson, age 78, Jonesborough, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at the Johnson City Medical Center. He was born in Syracuse, New York to the late Edward Robinson and Olga Shamp. Tom lived most of his life in New York before moving to Jonesborough in 2009.
He was a United States Army Veteran. Tom refinished hardwood floors and he was self-employed. He attended First Baptist Church in Jonesborough. Tom loved his dogs and he liked going to casinos.
In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by one brother, Joseph Austin and one sister, Mary Cross.
Tom leaves behind to cherish his memory, wife of forty-three years, Yvonne Crowell Robinson; seven children: Thomas Robinson, Kelly Robinson, Christopher Robinson, Jamie Robinson, Paul Robinson, Dennis Crowell and Angela Crowell; brothers: James Boone and Anthony Owens; sisters: Esther Cisse, Dorthy Boone (Gene) and Lila Myers (Tim); six grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Tom’s family will receive friends on Saturday, March 04, 2023 from 12:00-2:00 p.m. at the funeral home chapel.
