Thomas Mark Vanover, age 62, formerly of Erwin, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 22, 2024, at Life Care Center of Jefferson City. He is a son of Tommy Vanover and the late Nancy Lyle Bible.
Mark lived most of his life in Erwin before moving to Jefferson City ten years ago.
He was a former employee of Impact Plastics and Mark was a member of Ninth Street Baptist Church. Mark enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Also, he liked to go fishing.
In addition to his mother, Mark was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Carol Vanover.
Mark leaves behind to cherish his memory, his father, Tommy Vanover and wife, Pat of Unicoi; one brother, Kent Vanover of Maryville; nephew, Marcus Vanover; niece, Amanda Hardy; great nephew and great nieces: Hunter Norris, Haley Norris, and Lily Grace Sweeney; his Agape Acres Family.
The Vanover family will receive friends on Saturday, January 27, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service at Unicoi Funeral Home Chapel. Dr. Allen Davis will officiate the 12:00 noon service. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be men of Agape Acres.
