Terry Robert Hoyle

Terry Hoyle, age 63, Erwin passed away Saturday, March 12, 2022 at his home. He is a son of the late Hual and Trula Lewis Hoyle and a lifelong resident of Unicoi County.

Terry was a self-employed building contractor for many years. He loved to cook and feed his neighbors. Terry was a very selfless man always wanting to take care of others. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death his wife of twenty-one years, Ginger Lou Harris Hoyle on February 15, 2022; one brother, Rick Hoyle; two sisters: Lela May Mainer and Christine Shelton.

Terry leaves behind to cherish his memory, four children: Sabrina White (T.J.), Amanda Cooper (Nathan), Andrew Hoyle (Kirsten) and Kimber Hoyle, all of Erwin; two step-daughters: Angela Sullins (Robbie), Erwin and Amy Rutter, Marshall, NC nine grandchildren:, Trenton White, Laken White, Noly Cooper, Rowdy Hoyle, Brandy Hoyle, Laura Riddle, Jonathan Sullins (Sidney Shelton), Hannah Carter (Eric), Matthew Pate; three great grandchildren: Aiden Gouge, Breonnah Lane and Zaylah Sullins; one brother, James Hoyle (Lisa), Flag Pond; three sisters: Sharlene Feagin, Olanta, SC, Charlotte Shelton (Ronnie), Flag Pond, Jane Hoyle, Johnson City; two brothers-in-law: Gary Mainer and JC Shelton, both of Flag Pond. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Per Terry’s wishes no services will be held. He will be laid to rest in the Evergreen Cemetery.
