Terry Lee Foster

Terry Lee Foster, age 61, Erwin, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 23, 2020 at the Unicoi County Hospital. He was a lifelong resident of Unicoi County and a son of the late Doyle Foster. Terry was a former employee of CE Refractories. He was of the Christian Faith. Terry was a great mechanic and loved working on cars. He enjoyed fishing and watching Gunsmoke. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his baby sister, Nancy Foster and step-father, Walter Helton. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his mother, Vera Foster Helton; wife, Verna Miller Foster; one son, Eric Foster (Ashley); one daughter, Leslie Foster (Paul); step-son, Terry Miller, all of Erwin; two sisters: Sonya Wilson Osgood (Matthew), Knoxville; Joyce Payne (Danny), Chuckey; three grandchildren: Dorian, Andrew and Lucas Foster; two nephews: Richard Wilson and Daniel (Feather) Payne; mother of his children, Sandra Hopson. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM on Thursday, February 27, 2020 in the Robert Ledford Funeral Home Chapel. Brother Roger Nethers will officiate the 7:00 PM service. A private family committal will be held at a later date.
