Teresa Ann (Fender) Reifsnyder

Teresa Ann Fender Reifsnyder, age 58, Erwin, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 24, 2023, at her residence. She was a lifelong resident of Northeast Tennessee and a daughter of Harold and Mary Jane Tarlton Fender of Jonesborough.

Teresa was a homemaker and attended Horse Creek Freewill Baptist Church. She adored Mickey Mouse, and she enjoyed collecting items associated with Mickey or Minnie Mouse. Teresa loved her family dearly. She liked living in and exploring the state of Tennessee and Teresa was a UT Vol Football fan. Teresa loved trips to the beach.

She was preceded in death by her brother, David Fender and her nephew, Charles Bowling.

In addition to her parents, Harold and Mary Fender, Teresa leaves behind to cherish her memory, husband, Charles “Chuck” Reifsnyder; daughter, Misty Hanson (Craig Story), Erwin; step-daughter, A-Jay Reynoso, of Cookeville; grandchildren: Hannah and Heath Hanson; three sisters: Christine Tipton, Earlene Fender and Rose Marie Richey (Cliff); special sister-in-law, Pamela Norton; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Teresa’s family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home chapel.
