Sushilaben Ramanbhai (Patel) Patel

Sushilaben Ramanbhai Patel, age 81, of Jamestown, North Carolina, passed away on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at the Erwin Health Care Center. She was born in Dabhan, Gujarat India to the late Somabhai Patel and Laxmihen Patel.

Mrs. Patel moved to the United States of America in 1996 and became a citizen in 2020. She was of the Hindu Faith.

Mrs. Patel was an exceptional homemaker who worked hard taking care of her family. She enjoyed painting, singing, cooking, and practicing yoga. Mrs. Patel helped new mothers by teaching them how to take care of their newborn babies. She was very knowledgeable in making home remedies from different herbs and spices from her kitchen.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Patel was preceded in death by her siblings.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband of sixty-one years, Ramanlal Patel; her son, Rajesh Patel; her daughter, Harsha Patel and husband, Vinod Patel; three grandchildren: Bhavin Patel and wife, Rudra Shah, Jayna Patel, and Purvi Patel and husband, Adi.

Private services will be held for the family.
