Stephanie Jena McInturff

Stephanie Jena McInturff, age 27, of Unicoi, entered eternal peace and rest on Sunday, December 28, 2025. No longer will she be burdened by the temptations she tried so hard to avoid. She is the daughter of Harold and Henriette Lodahl McInturff.

Stephanie was a student at Unicoi County High School until she obtained her GED in the 11th grade. She worked in various public positions over the years. Stephanie was a people person. She was a girlie girl and when she was old enough to dabble in makeup, dabble she did! Stephanie was an absolute makeup artist. She loved fashion and had to dress in all the latest trends. Her love for fashion started at an early age. Her pre-school teachers said that she could be found with her classmates swapping clothing.

Stephanie’s proudest accomplishment in life was the birth of her beautiful daughter, Nevaeh Jena Shell. She loved her daughter so much! Stephanie attended Marbleton Freewill Baptist Church, New Hope Freewill Baptist Church and Bible School in Unicoi over the years.

Stephanie was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Wayne and Gail McInturff of Unicoi; maternal grandparents, Harry and Alice Lodahl of Herning, Denmark.

Left to cherish the many wonderful memories of Stephanie are her father and mother, Harold and Henriette Lodahl McInturff of Unicoi; her precious daughter, Nevaeh Shell and Nevaeh’s father, Darren Shell; one sister, Scyron McInturff-Dykes (Mat) of Johnson City; brother, Corey McInturff (Amber) of Erwin; uncles Kim and Jan Lodahl of Herning, Denmark; her nephew and niece which she was very fond of, Dalton McInturff and Gracie Boone; lastly, someone she always referred to as her second mom that loved her dearly, Dedra “Deda” Felts and husband, Richard.

Stephanie's graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 03, 2026, in the McInturff Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 12:50 p.m. on Saturday.
