Sharon (Roberts) Deniz

Sharon Roberts Deniz, age 83, of Limestone, passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2025, at her residence. She is a daughter of the late Harry and Ruth Blake Roberts. She was born in Kansas City, Missouri, but lived most of her life in California before moving to Limestone twenty years ago.

Sharon retired from the Chino California School District after thirty-five years of service where she was employed as a cook at the Ramona Junior High. She was of the Catholic Faith. Sharon enjoyed traveling and camping with her husband in their motorhome. Sharon loved barbequing and she liked belly dancing.

In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-nine years, Manuel L. Deniz on May 16, 2018; one brother, Gary Roberts and one sister, Linda Beets.

Survivors include her brother, John Beets, of California; special nephew and caregiver, Larry Porter and his wife, Jeannette of Limestone; several nieces also survive.

A graveside service will be held in Pomona, California in the Holy Cross Cemetery where she will be laid to rest beside her husband, Manuel.
