Roger Dale Harris, Sr.

Roger Dale Harris, Sr. age 70, of Erwin, passed away on Tuesday, June 03, 2025, at Johnson City Medical Center. He was a son of the late Charles Lee and Pansy Cooper Harris.  Roger lived most of his life in Unicoi County.

Roger was of the Christian Faith. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and growing a garden.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by six brothers and sisters.

Roger leaves behind to cherish his memory, three children: Roger Harris, Jr., Jonathan Alex Harris, and Carrie Sue Jolley; six sisters: Nellie Ozmer, Effie Thompson, Donna Baker, Gearldine Gray, Rhonda Buchanan, Deb Simmons; four brothers: Robert Harris, Sherman Harris, Joe Harris, Keith Harris; sister-in-law, Beverly Harris; seven grandchildren: Roger Harris, III, Drake Harris, Kristyn Wilder, Caleb Harris, Alexandria Harris, Andrew “Hunter” Harris, Dakota Harris; four great grandchildren: Patricia, Aspen, Charles, and Colter; several nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 12, 2025, from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at the Robert Ledford Funeral Home Chapel.
