Robert Clinton Obituary

Robert Brett Clinton, age 59, of Johnson City, passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2024, at his residence following a long battle with cancer. Mr. Clinton was a Cleveland, Ohio native and he was raised in Barnardsville, North Carolina. He is a son of the late William “Onis” Clinton and Dorothy “Dottie” Begin Clinton.

Robert was a Medical Laboratory Technician at Unicoi County Hospital. He was of the Baptist Faith. Robert was loved and he will be missed by all that knew him.

In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his brother, Bart Clinton.

Survivors include his wife of fifteen years, Sherry Randolph Clinton; his daughter, Heather Fore and husband, Colton, of Soperton, Georgia; three grandchildren: Violet Bochicchio, Caley Fore and Caden Fore; sister, Cathy Hensley and husband, Cloud, of Barnardsville, North Carolina; his “brother from another mother” Daryl Smith, of Weaverville, North Carolina; several nieces and nephews also survive.

The family of Robert Clinton will receive friends from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at the Unicoi Funeral Home. A private family graveside service will be held for Robert.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made in memory of Robert to: Big Ivy Community Center, P.O. Box 424, Barnardsville, NC 28709.
