Phillip "Randy" Blevins

Phillip R. “Randy” Blevins, age 67, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, January 27, 2026. Randy was born on September 25, 1958, to the late Clyde Blevins and Dorothy “Dot” Barron Blevins.

He was a lifelong resident of Unicoi. Randy worked with his father at Phillips 66 Service Station in Unicoi for many years. He installed H-VAC systems and later began working with his cousins, whom he was very fond of Robert and Gail Blevins at their business in Strawberry Plains, More Than Plants. Randy was also a volunteer firefighter with the Unicoi Fire Department in his younger days.

He enjoyed drawing, reading, and watching movies. However, he especially loved visiting and spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, Randy was preceded in death by his brother, Gregory Blevins and his sister, Virginia Reeves.

Randy is survived by his two sisters: Linda Rice (Floyd) of Jonesborough and Melissa Creamer of Williamston, S.C.; nieces: Amber Reeves and Lindsay Rice; nephew, Tim Reeves (Samantha), Lane Creamer (Katherine); great nephew, Eli Rice.

Randy’s family will receive friends on Thursday, February 05, 2026, from 12:00-1:30 p.m. at the Unicoi Funeral Home. His funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. with Reverend Lincoln Shelton officiating. Randy will be laid to rest in the Peterson Cemetery. There will not be a service at the cemetery.

Flowers will be accepted or those wishing may make memorial donations in memory of Randy to Gentiva Hospice.
