Paul Leonard Chandler

Paul Leonard Chandler, age 72, Unicoi, passed away Monday, November 2, 2020 at the Johnson City Medical Center. He was the son of the late Pearl Jane Chandler and a life-long resident of Unicoi County.

Paul was retired from AO Smith after thirty years of service. He was a Volunteer Fireman with Unicoi Volunteer Fire Department. Paul attended Lower Higgins Creek Church of God.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Agnes Chandler on November 27, 1993; two stepdaughters: Rita Hopson and Sylvia “Jeannie” Edwards.

Paul leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife of twelve years, Della Edwards Cousins Chandler; three stepdaughters: Vivian Kiko and husband, Brian of Unicoi, Nina Pleasants and husband, Walter of Cleveland, TX, Cathy Price of Telford; three brothers-in-law: Everette Edwards, Clyde Edwards, and Dewey Edwards; several cousins also survive.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, November 16, 2020 in the Roselawn Memory Gardens. Reverend David Shelton will officiate. Fireman from the Unicoi Volunteer Fire Department will serve as pallbearers. Everyone is asked to meet at the cemetery by 12:55 PM Monday.
