Patty Correll Edwards, Erwin, passed away Monday February 1, 2021 in the Johnson City Medical Center. She was a lifelong resident of Unicoi County and a daughter of the late Ben H. and Ruth B. Carroll Correll.
Patty retired from Hoover Ball after thirty years of service. She was a member of Canah Chapel Freewill Baptist Church. Patty enjoyed riding horses with her husband. She loved her family and was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters: Verna Lou Dulaney and Tommie Phillips.
Patty leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband of sixty-nine years, Buster H. Edwards; one son, Rick Edwards; one daughter, Pam Street; four grandchildren: Chasity Harness, Dusty Edwards, Travis Hensley, Taylor Street; ten great grandchildren; two brothers: Jim Correll, Kenny Correll and wife, Gina; three sisters: Alma Lee Wilson, Mary Ruth Lewis and husband, Dale, Charlotte McFall and husband, Rick; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Entombment service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, February 4, 2021 at the Evergreen Mausoleum. Rev. Kevin Laws will officiate. Everyone is asked to meet at the Evergreen Mausoleum by 1:55 PM Thursday.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic we request that all who attend the services wear a mask or face covering and observe all social distancing guidelines.
