Patricia "Pat" Irene (Haynes) Raisor

Patricia “Pat” Irene Haynes Raisor, age 87, Erwin, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at the Unicoi County Hospital while she was surrounded by her family. She was born in Kings Mountain, North Carolina to the late Howard Henry Haynes and Irene Mitchum Haynes. Pat lived most of her life in Erwin.

She was a retired seamstress and Pat was of the Christian Faith. Pat loved to sew, and she made quilts. She enjoyed tending to flowers and working in her yard. Pat liked to shop for antiques and collected quite a few treasures over the years. She treasured spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her first husband who was the father of her children, Ernest Arnold Taylor and her second husband, George Wesley Raisor; one sister, Rachel Tanner; sister-in-law, Patricia Haynes.

Pat leaves behind to cherish her memory, two children: Jackie Taylor of Unicoi and Judy Bailey (James E.) of Erwin; two grandchildren: Eric Bailey and Corey Taylor; one great granddaughter, Katelyn Caughran (Chris); great-great grandson, Oliver Caughran; three brothers: Billy Haynes (Joetta), David Haynes, Jimmy Haynes (Brenda); sister, Naomi Smith (Dave); special friend, Billie Grace Peterson; several nieces and nephews also survive.
