Nora Annis (Taylor) Grace

Nora Annis Taylor Moffitt Grace, age 84, a native of Carter County, passed away on Monday, February 03, 2025, at The Waters of Roan Highlands. She was a daughter of the late Lee & Iva Estep Taylor.

Nora was a homemaker, and she was of the Free Will Baptist Faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, who was the father of her children Elmer Moffitt, and her second husband who was the love of her life, Dallas Grace; a son, Lonnie Moffitt; five sisters: Eva Lipps, Mary Lipps, Martha Peters, Clara Cole, Sallie Estep, and  Wilma Estep; two brothers: Paul Davis, and Lee Taylor, Jr.

Survivors include her children: Lanie Moffitt and life partner, Christine Kittredge, Buzie Moffitt and wife Cora, Charlotte Pierce and life partner, Todd King, Judy McNeil and husband, Timothy McNeil, Jay Moffitt and wife Pamela, David Moffitt and wife Joy, Theresa Grace and life partner, Carl Bowers, Mary Grace; Grandchildren: Dustin Moffitt, Jessica Miller (John), Kristy Jenkins ( Michael), Inez Richardson (Cody), Angel Townsend, (Ricky), Lonnie Moffitt, II “Rusty”, Travis Mathes (Heather), Sherry Lane (Kevin), Brad McNeil (Chelsie), Paige Foltz (Josh),  Misty Lesley (Kevin), Jacob Marshall (Jett Burns), Heather Grace and life partner Billy Erickson, Amber McMahan, Clayton McMahan, Megan McMahan, and Richard Dallas McMahan;  twenty-nine great grandchildren, and a host of countless others who came through her door in need of love who called her Mamaw or Maw.

A little farewell to all - When I have no more tomorrow, I want my children, grandchildren and loved ones to know, and never forget that they were always deeply loved by me.

A private inurnment will be held at Mountain Home National Cemetery.
