Nick Glen Norton

Nick Glen Norton, 84, of Flag Pond, TN, passed away on December 27, 2025.

He is survived by his daughter, Jessica Norton; his stepson, Earl Ross Sly Jr., whom he raised; his nephew, Richard David Norton, whom he also raised; his sister, Perry Lee Finlaw; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Rebecca “Becky” Norton; his daughters, Selena Norton and Kelly Norton; his father, Jesse Tom Norton; his mother, Sally Norton; and his siblings, Jesse Tom (JT) Norton Jr., Eugene Norton, Richard Norton, Ailene Shelton, Doris Jarrell, and Joann Wheatcraft.

Nick's memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at the Sweetwater Church of God. Reverend Craig Shelton will officiate. Inurnment will follow in the Higgins Chapel Cemetery.
