Michael Ray Tittle, age 69, of Erwin, passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at the Johnson City Medical Center. He was a lifelong resident of Erwin and son of Hazel Miller Tittle and the late Raymond Tittle who passed away on February 20, 2024.
Michael received his undergraduate degree from ETSU. He was the youngest graduate from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in Memphis. Michael was a dentist for forty years. Also, he was an ordained minister. He preached at several different Church of God churches with the Hampton Church of God being the last church he ministered.
Michael was a member of Erwin Pentecostal Holiness Church. He was a member of the East Tennessee Steam Engine Club. Michael enjoyed attending the Erwin Autorama every year.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Beth Tittle and one brother, Dorsey Tittle.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his mother, Hazel Miller Tittle; his wife of forty years, Sharon Tittle; one daughter, Andrea Tittle; one nephew, Houston Tittle and wife, Kelci; three great nephews: Remy Tittle, Tucker Tittle and JD Tittle; mother-in-law, Faye Rabb; brother-in-law, Mitchell Rabb.
The Tittle family will receive friends on Saturday, May 25, 2024, from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. at the Erwin Pentecostal Holiness Church. Reverend Steven Lewis will officiate the 2:00 p.m. funeral service. Interment will follow in the McInturff Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
