Michael Lester Silvers, II

Michael Lester Silvers, II, age 51, of Flag Pond, passed away on Wednesday, February 05, 2025, at his residence. He was a lifelong resident of Flag Pond and son of Minnie Irene Silvers and the late Michael Lester Silvers.

Michael was employed at Silvers Sawmill for many years, which he absolutely loved. He could run the sawmill from one end to the other. Michael was a very hard worker, and he was proud to be a logger.

He was a beautiful, honest soul who had a generous, caring heart. Michael was always there for his family and friends whom he loved dearly.

In addition to his father, Michael was preceded in death by his stepson, Cody Riddle.

Michael’s survivors include his loving and devoted companion of twenty-seven years, Christie Riddle; mother, Minnie Irene Moxley Silvers; daughter, Holly Burress (Daniel); step son, Austin Riddle; grandchildren: Brayden Douthit, Cyrus Burress, Vallee Burress, and Wave Burress; brother, Mark Harrison Silvers-Wyatt (Chance); special friend, James Durham; niece and nephew: Ellie and Jonah Silvers; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.

Michael’s graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 13, 2025, in Stockton Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 12:50 p.m. on Thursday.
