Marilyn Sue (Wilson) Falk

Marilyn Sue Wilson Falk, age 71, Unicoi, passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2023, at her residence. She was a native of Burnsville, North Carolina and a daughter of the late Rass Wilson and Elizabeth Hensley Wilson. Marilyn lived most of her life in Unicoi County.

She retired from Comcare Incorporated where she worked for several years. Marilyn was of the Christian Faith. She was the founder of Spirit Born Gospel Group. Marilyn loved writing, singing, and playing gospel music. She was a very talented musician. Marilyn played the guitar, banjo, organ, piano, and mandolin. Also, she wrote poetry and had several of her poems published. Marilyn loved animals.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Randall Falk; her two special pets: Peanut and Gizmo.

Marilyn leaves behind to cherish her memory, three children: Allan Hensley and wife, Rebecca of Gate City, VA, Teresa Carver and husband, Daniel of Greeneville, and Elaine Court of Johnson City; five grandchildren: Alan Simmons, Jacob Carver, Cameron Herron, Ben Carver, and Autumn Hensley; six great grandchildren: Allison Simmons, Lila Carver, Emma Carver, Rylie Buchanan, Carson Carver, and Jameson Carver; two sisters: Inez Williams and Billie Sheperd.
