Linda Turner Obituary

Linda Kay Turner, 77 passed away on May 16, 2024 at Governor’s Bend Assisted Living in Erwin, TN. She was the daughter of Steeley and Margaret (Day) Rhoden.

Linda was a member of Fellowship Freewill Baptist Church in Erwin, TN. She had retired from A D Owens Elementary as a teacher. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband George W. Turner.

Linda is survived by her daughter, Teresa (Nick) Stillwell. Son, George (Angie) Turner. Brothers, Larry (Joan), Gary, Steve (Marla) and Ron (Pam) Rhoden. Sisters, Dee (Jerry) Gastright and Dorothy (Rich) McDonough. Along with 6 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren.

Graveside service will be held at Alexandria Cemetery at 10am on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. In lieu of flowers, Linda requested that donations in her memory be made to her church, Fellowship Freewill Baptist Church, 101 Berkshire Drive, Erwin, TN 37650. Cooper Funeral Home is serving the family.
