Linda Gail (Barcelo) Heimer

Linda Gail Barcelo Heimer, age 80, of Unicoi, passed away on Friday, September 13, 2024, at Johnson City Medical Center. She was a native of Tampa, Florida and daughter of the late Tony and Millie Barcelo. Linda lived most of her life in Florida before moving to Burnsville, North Carolina where she lived for several years. She had been living in Unicoi for the past eight years.

Linda retired as Office Manager for ATS where she worked for twenty-eight years. She was of the Catholic Faith.

Linda was a sports fan with the University of Miami being her favorite football team. She enjoyed watching NASCAR. Linda was the matriarch of her family, she kept everyone together. She had the gift of listening to others anytime they needed someone to talk to.

Her survivors include her husband of fifty-two years, Larry Crawford; son, Scott Heimer of Unicoi; daughter, Debbie Miller of Burnsville; seven grandchildren: Brittany Bates, Brandon Bates, Ashely Heimer, Shawn Heimer, Dylan Heimer, Ellie Howell, and Kaylie Heimer; great grandchildren: Kennedy and Logan.

Linda’s family will receive friends on Saturday, September 21, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Unicoi Funeral Home Chapel. Her funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Entombment will follow in the Evergreen Mausoleum.
