Larry Vaughn Linville
Obituary
Larry Vaughn Linville, age 70, Unicoi, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at his residence. He was a lifelong resident of East Tennessee and son of the late James “Jim” and Pauline Black Linville.
Larry was the Valedictorian for the 1971 graduating class at Unicoi County High School. He was a United States Army Veteran, having served his country honorably. Larry earned his Master’s Degree in Accounting from East Tennessee State University. He retired from Care Centers Management where he was the Chief Financial Officer.
Larry was an avid Tennessee Vol fan throughout his life.
Larry leaves behind to cherish his memory, two children: Brian Linville and Dr. Sophia Lee (Dr. Kenneth Hoang); two brothers: Jeff Linville (Lynda), of Unicoi and Keith Linville (Sherry), of Pigeon Forge; former wife, Angie Linville; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Larry's family will receive friends from 1:00-3:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 4, 2024 at Unicoi United Methodist Church New Life Center.
