Kim Charlene (Edwards) Garland

Kim Charlene Edwards Garland, age 71, of Erwin, passed away on Sunday, June 07, 2026, at her residence. She was a lifelong resident of Erwin and daughter of the late Sidney Charles Edwards and Jenny Ingle Edwards.

Kim was a Seamstress at the former Industrial Garment for over twenty years. She was of the Baptist Faith.

Kim loved raising her grandchildren and spending time with her family. She enjoyed being outdoors, going to the beach, and watching her T.V.

In addition to her parents, Kim was preceded in death by her husband of thirty-four years, Jim Garland and her niece, Sydney Paige Masters.

Kim leaves behind to cherish her memory, her two daughters: Tialynn Whitson of Johnson City and Mary Ann Garland of Erwin; three grandchildren: Scotty Greene, Eli McNalley, and Hannah McNalley; her three siblings: Kathy Masters of Erwin, Doug Edwards (Tammy) of Unicoi, and Joy Moffitt (Steve) of Johnson City; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Per Kim’s wishes there will not be any services held.
