Kathryn Ann (Buchanan) Briggs

Kathryn Ann Buchanan Briggs, age 75, Erwin, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 12, 2022, due to a stroke. She was born on April 19, 1947, to Lilly Ray Elliott and the late Claude Buchanan.

Kathryn was a member of Fishery Community Drive-in Church. She was a self-employed Interior Decorator for several years before her retirement. Kathryn enjoyed working puzzles.

In addition to her mother, Lilly Elliott, Kathryn is survived by her husband of fifty-nine years, Grady Briggs; her two sons: Anthony Briggs and Ashley Briggs; grandchildren: Anthony Briggs, Jr., Holt Briggs, Gabriel Briggs, and Mckenzie Briggs; one great grandchild, Maddox Briggs; two brothers: Richard Buchanan and Johnny Buchanan.

A private family service will be held for Kathryn at a later date. Family and friends will be received at her home, 1804 Chestoa Pike, Erwin.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made in memory of Kathryn to: Fishery Community Church, 501 Fishery Community Church Road, Erwin, TN 37650.
