Katherine (Hall) Bailey

Katherine Hall Bailey, age 77, of Erwin, passed away Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at the Johnson City Medical Center. She was a life-long resident of Erwin and a daughter of the late William Max and Trula Randolph Hall.

Katherine was of the Christian Faith and was retired from Morrill Motors. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved her little dog Oscar and taking care of her rose bushes. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Katherine is preceded in death by two brothers: Keith and Ricky Hall.

Katherine leaves behind to cherish her memory, three sons: Douglas Bailey and wife, Kelly, of Unicoi, Tim Bailey and wife, Teresa, and Chad Bailey all of Erwin; one sister Faye Bailey and husband, Verline; two grandchildren: Lindsay Bailey and Sage Bailey; several nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon to 1:00 PM Monday, October 12, 2020 in the Robert Ledford Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment service will be held at 1:30 PM Monday at the Evergreen Mausoleum. Pastor Charlie Byrd will officiate. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Everyone wishing to attend is asked to meet at the funeral home by 1:00 PM Monday to go in procession to the cemetery.
