Jamie Allen Kammire, age 53, of Erwin, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, November 28, 2025, at his residence. He is a son of the late Don Kammire and Sandra Renfro Deakins.
Jamie graduated from ETSU where he earned his BS Degree. He was formerly employed at NFS. Jamie was the owner and operator of Estep Septic.
He enjoyed playing his guitar, going to the lake, and hanging out with his friends.
In addition to his parents, Jamie was preceded in death by his brother, Donnie Kammire.
Jamie is survived by his aunts: Linda McCulley of Erwin and Barbara Moore of Hampton; his uncles: Doug Honeycutt (Juanita) of Unicoi, Wayne Honeycutt (Brenda) of Bluff City, and Lonnie Honeycutt of Unicoi; special cousin, Amy McCulley; special friend, Chris Hopson; several other family members and friends also survive.
Jamie’s graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 05, 2025, in the Jones Cemetery. Reverend Charlie Byrd will officiate. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the cemetery by 10:55 a.m. on Friday.
