Jackson Whaley Obituary

Jackson Whaley sadly passed away peacefully at home on January 2, 2024. He was a beautiful young fifteen-year-old man who could spread joy and happiness wherever he went. His smile was so contagious and would fill your heart with love. Jackson loved being home with his family watching his favorite music videos and listening to stories. His other favorite hobbies were watching lights dance around him, car rides, day trips, swimming, Christmas time and just being with his family. He fought an illness his entire life and we now know he does not have to fight anymore. He has a brand-new body celebrating his new life in Heaven.

Jackson was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, David Whaley; maternal grandparents: Larry and Linda Furchess.

He is survived by his parents, David “Scottie” and Kelly Michelle Whaley; his brothers, Samuel and Chandler Whaley; special paternal grandmother, Shirley Whaley; two uncles: Nathan Whaley and wife Karen, Thomas Whaley; one aunt, T.J. Furchess; four special cousins: Triston and Conner Whaley, Matthew Furchess, and Hailey Wooliver. Several other cousins and friends also survive.
