Hollis Dee Ellington

Hollis Dee Ellington, of Erwin, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 22, 2025, at the Johnson City Medical Center. He was born six weeks early on June 30, 2025; however, Hollis was able to leave the NICU at one week old.

Hollis was able to donate his heart to a baby in need which made his heart the smallest to ever be donated in Tennessee. He was a little hero!

Hollis’ favorite place was on his mama, and he loved his daddy’s beard. He will be missed every second of every day!

Hollis is survived by his mom, Lauren, his dad, James, and his two big brothers: Fischer and Eden.
