Georgia Ruth Huskins

Georgia Ruth Huskins, age 93, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus on Sunday, December 25, 2022. She was born on March 15, 1929, to the late Elmer Jess and Letha Huskins. She was a native of Washington County and lived most her life in the Embreeville Community.

Georgia loved her piano and making people smile. She had a soul of gold never meeting a stranger. Georgia retired from the Dunbar Pepper Mill.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved son, Billy Howard Huskins, Jr. whom she loved dearly, and several brothers and sisters.

Georgia leaves behind to cherish her memory, several nieces and nephews: Sharon Huskins, Sandy Wilson, Steve Huskins, Wendall Huskins all of Erwin; several great nieces and nephews: Wendall Huskins of Erwin, Benjamin Huskins of Kingsport, Matthew Robinson, Steven Huskins, Jan Huskins, Candace Barnett, Danielle Huskins, Teresa Robinson, Denise Keplinger all of Erwin; several great-great nieces and nephews; a very special cousin, Wanda Miller of Embreeville.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Center of Aging and Health, and the staff of Amedisys Hospice of Elizabethton for all loving care that Georgia received.

No formal services will be held at this time. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
