Frances Marie (Chandley) Anderson

Frances Marie Chandley Anderson, age 68, of Erwin, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at her residence. She was born in Orlando, Florida to the late David Chandley and Wilma Hawthorn Chandley. Frances lived most of her life in Florida before moving to Erwin eight years ago.

Frances was a United States Navy Veteran who served her country honorably for fifteen years. During her time in the Navy she was awarded two Good Conduct Medals.  She retired from medical coding and billing after several years.

Frances loved spending time with her family whom she loved dearly. She enjoyed meeting new people, cooking, reading, and traveling.

Frances leaves behind to cherish her memory, her daughter, Leilani Breitenfield and her husband, Joseph of Groveland, Florida; grandson, Zachary Breitenfield; sister, Kathy Whittaker and her husband, Mallory of Shelton Laurel, North Carolina; several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
