Flora (Garland) Smith

Flora Garland Smith, age 97, of Erwin, passed away on Tuesday, October 08, 2024, at the Johnson City Medical Center. She was born on September 27, 1927, in Erwin to the late Conway Garland and Nancy Howell Garland.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Charles W. Smith in 1999; three brothers and four sisters.

Flo is survived by her two sons: Gary Smith and Michael Smith and their wives, as well as several nieces and nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Flo was a kind-hearted and generous woman, beloved by all who knew her. She was a lifetime member of Shallowford Baptist Church.

A private family graveside service will be held in the Evergreen Cemetery with Pastor Zach Smith officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made in memory of Flora to: Shallow Ford Baptist Church, 315 Old Highway Road, Erwin, Tennessee 37650.
