Edwin Wayne Tolley

Edwin Wayne Tolley, age 86, of Erwin, passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at the Johnson City Medical Center. He was a lifelong resident of Erwin and son of the late Joseph Melvin Tolley and Lillian Salts Tolley.

He went to Martin’s Chapel Elementary School and graduated from Unicoi County High School. Edwin retired from NFS after forty-two years of service.

He was a lifetime member of Evergreen Freewill Baptist Church. Edwin enjoyed driving cars.

In addition to his parents, Edwin was preceded in death by his wife, Zeta Jane Keefauver Tolley; sister, Janice Tolley Byrd and her husband, D.C.; one niece, Shari Byrd Jennings.

Edwin leaves behind to cherish his memory, one son, Chris Tolley of Erwin; nephew, Steven; two nieces: Sandy and Pam; three great nephews: Corey, Cole, and Jason.
