Donald Ray Dunbar, age 41, Unicoi, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Sunday, September 4, 2022. He was a lifelong resident of Unicoi County and son of the late Rollie and Rebecca “Becky” Lennis Silvers.
Donald was an auto mechanic and he thoroughly enjoyed working on cars. He liked to go camping, raise a garden, watch car shows and Forged in Fire on TV. Donnie raised hound dogs and he was a very talented blacksmith. Also, he made top quality leather goods.
He was of the Christian Faith.
Donald leaves behind his wife of five years, Michelle Lawson Dunbar; ten children: Dom Dunbar, Devin Dunbar, Dakota Dunbar, Drake Dunbar, Jack Dunbar, Kadience Dunbar, Damian Dunbar, Karman Harris, Katherine Chambers, and David “Little Man” Chambers, III; one grandchild, Kane Harris; two brothers: Maverick “Bubby” Silvers, and Monty Dunbar; one sister, Elizabeth Claypoole.
Donald’s family will celebrate his life at the family residence which will be announced at a later date.
