David Fender

David Fender, age 68, Erwin, passed away Thursday, February 4, 2021 at his residence following a lengthy illness. He was a life-long resident of Unicoi County and a son of Shirley Hoyle Fender and the late Raymond Fender.

David retired from Morrill Motors after many years of service.

In addition to his mother, Shirley Hoyle Fender, he leaves behind to cherish his memory, two brothers: Ronnie Fender (Nancy), Donald Fender (Brenda); four sisters: Lucille Ennis (Robert), Wilma Willis (Jeff), Priscilla Rice, Ruth Willis (Brad); several nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, February 8, 2021 at Upper Higgins Creek Cemetery. Rev. Brad Willis will officiate. Pallbearers will be Adam Willis, Brandon Fender, Matt Shell, Nick Fender, and Bobby Hensley. Everyone is asked to meet at the cemetery by 1:55 PM Monday.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic we request that all who attend the services wear a mask or face covering and observe all social distancing guidelines.
