David Louis Casey

David Louis Casey, age 65, Erwin, Bumpus Cove Community, passed away on Saturday, December 25, 2021, at the Johnson City Medical Center. He lived most of his life in Erwin and is a son of the late Clint and Gladys Tucker Casey.

David was of the Christian Faith. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend. David enjoyed playing his guitar with family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four siblings: June Mathis, Bernie Casey, Bobby Casey and Linda Tolley.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife of forty-four years, Brenda Miller Casey; his son, Dave Casey, Erwin; four brothers: Carlos Casey (Betty), Jonesborough, Richard Casey (Candy), Erwin, Johnny Casey (Joni), Johnson City and Ronnie Casey (Brenda), Erwin; mother-in-law, Margaret Miller; special nephews: Robbie, Jerrett and Eric Casey; special niece, Kim Tolley; several other nieces and nephews also survive.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, in the Bumpus Cove Cemetery. Preacher Mike Rice will officiate. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Everyone is asked to meet at the cemetery by 10:45 A.M. Wednesday.
