Connie Lee (Conley) Blocker

Connie Lee Conley Blocker, age 75, of Erwin, formerly of California, passed away on Monday, April 14, 2025, at Erwin Health Care Center. She is a daughter of the late Charles Conley and Betty Hannon Conley Keith.

Connie lived most of her life in California before moving to East Tennessee six years ago. She was a dedicated homemaker.

Connie enjoyed staying at home where she welcomed all her children’s friends, providing them with a safe place to gather. She had a comforting presence about her which enabled others to just be themselves around her. She had a great sense of humor bringing laughter to all those whom she met.

Connie loved listening to music and singing while she was driving her car. Her favorite road trips were going to the casino’s where she enjoyed gambling and playing on the slot machines.

Connie read her bible faithfully and loved her talks with the Lord.

Connie leaves behind to cherish many wonderful memories, her three children: Renae Blocker, Lisa Pfeiffer (Gabe) all of California, and Georgette O’Brien (James Herreid) of Johnson City; father of her children, George Blocker; grandchildren: Travis Henry, Megan Henry, Hailey Henry, Brody Bruszer, Sydney Bruszer, Rocky Pheiffer, Hunter O’Brien, Sierra O’Brien, and Cali Herreid; great grandchild, Will Henry; brothers: Leslie and Carl Keith; sisters: Vicky Martinez (Ernie) and Frankie Conley; son-in-law, Dave Henry; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Connie's family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the Erwin Health Care staff who became like family to Connie and for the excellent care given to her.
