Charlie Webb

Charlie Webb, age 86, of Erwin, passed away on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at the Johnson City Medical Center. He was a lifelong resident of Erwin and son of the late F.A. Webb and Eva Moore Webb.

Charlie was the owner and operator of Erwin Heat & Air for many years before his retirement. He was a member of Grace Church.

Charlie enjoyed working and watching westerns. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Charlie adored being with his large family!

In addition to his parents, Charlie was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Jamie King; his brothers and sisters: Gordon Webb, Ruby Smith, Irene Brooks, Joyce Cureton, Aaron Webb, Don Webb, Naomi Ambrose, and Robert Webb; son-in-law, William Angel.

Charlie leaves behind to cherish many wonderful memories, his loving and devoted wife of sixty-six years, Hazel Hardin Webb; his three daughters: Marie Angel, Linda Harrell (Terry), and Annette Tipton (Robert), all of Erwin; grandchildren: Jason Bailey (Tracy), Jennifer Bailey Joyner, Austin Harrell (Kimberly), Sydney Tipton, and Toby Tipton; great grandchildren: Cheyenne King, Charmayne King, Justin King, Jaxon Bailey, Haven Bailey, Brock Bailey, Lacey Joyner, Remington Joyner, Barrett Joyner, Hunter Harrell, and Cameron Harrell; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Charlie’s celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 21, 2025, in the funeral home chapel. Pastor Steve Rice will officiate.

The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to Charlie’s favorite doctor, Page McClanahan, who took such wonderful care of him.
