Charles Mirrell McCracken

Charles M. McCracken, age 83, of Erwin, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at Christian Care Center of Unicoi County. He is a son of the late John and Margaret Richardson. He was a lifelong resident of Washington and Unicoi Counties.

Charles retired from Superior Industries, and he was a Carpenter by trade. He was of the Christian Faith. Charles’ favorite pastime was sitting on his front porch.

In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn McCracken.

Survivors include his only son, Charles “Chuck” Todd McCracken, of Elizabethton and his grandson, Chaz Jonathon McCracken and his wife, Becca.
