Carol Lee Haslauer Winn, age 87, of Rogersville, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus on Thursday, July 13, 2023, while she was surrounded by her family. She was a native of Olive Branch, Illinois and a daughter of the late John and Leota Violet Isom Haslauer.
Carol lived most of her life in Dade City, Florida. She retired from the Pasco County School Board after twenty years of service in the school cafeteria. Carol was an active and faithful member of Dade City Church of God. She was involved with the Ladies Auxiliary and Golden Oldies Class at the church. Carol loved gospel music and she never missed the opportunity to attend a good gospel singing.
She was devoted to her family, whom she loved very much. Carol also liked to plant flowers and grow plants.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Winn in 1990; one grandson, Timothy Matthew Winn; one brother, John Haslauer and one sister, Willa Fern McCoy.
Carol leaves behind to cherish her memory, her three children: Lora Caselnova (Terry) of Rogersville, Jerri Miller (James) of Tamms, IL and Timothy “Tim” Winn (Toni) of Dade City, FL; six grandchildren: Elissa Miller, Robert Aaron Linsday, Kelli Winn, Alexa Lawson (Daniel), Malia Ledbetter (Gavin) and Alex Linsday; three great grandchildren: Baylee Lawson, Brody Lawson, and Aurora Ledbetter; several nieces and nephews also survive.
The Winn family will receive friends on Friday, July 21, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon at Crain Funeral Home, 420 Front Street, Tamms, Illinois 62988. Carol's funeral service will be held at 12 noon. Interment will follow in the Olive Branch Cemetery.
