Brenda Lee (Clark) Souder

Brenda Lee Clark Souder, age 79, of Ellicott City, Maryland, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 16, 2025, at Suburban Hospital, Bethesda, Maryland. She was born in Washington D.C. to the late Walter Clark and Callie Horton Clark.

Brenda was a Registered Nurse for over thirty years. Also, Brenda was a dog breeder who loved raising Chihuahuas and Pomeranians.

She had a caring, generous heart, who enjoyed helping others. Brenda loved to travel with the beach being one of her favorite destinations.

She was of the Methodist Faith.

In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by her sister, Beverly Kidwell.

Brenda leaves behind to cherish her memory, her daughter, Sheila Souder of Ellicott City, Maryland; father of her child, Raymond Souder; her Aunt Frances Horton of Erwin; niece, Rose Quattrone; two nephews: Matthew Kidwell, and Buddy Kidwell; several cousins also survive.

Brenda’s graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, May 23, 2025, at Swingle Cemetery (Shepherd’s Glen). Pastor Jeff Autrey will officiate. Family will serve as pallbearers. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at Shepherd’s Glen by 10:20 a.m. on Friday.
