Branson “B.J.” Banner, age 33, Erwin, passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2022 in Greeneville Community Hospital East. He is a son of Michael L. Banner and the late Ozella Adkins Banner.
He was a lifelong resident of the Embreeville Community. B.J. was of the Christian Faith. He always had a smile on his face and loved people. He enjoyed going to places he had never been before.
In addition to his mother, B.J. was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Jack and Ada Banner; his maternal grandparents, Clifford and Linnie Adkins.
B.J. leaves behind to cherish his memory, his father, Michael L. Banner; one brother, Jack L. Banner; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A graveside service for B.J. will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 2, 2023 in the Beals Cemetery on Haynes Road off Hwy 81 South. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Everyone is asked to meet at the cemetery by 12:45 p.m. Monday.
