Bobby Preston Carpenter

Bobby Preston Carpenter, age 86, Erwin, passed away Saturday, February 13, 2021 in the Sycamore Shoals Hospital. He was a life-long resident of Erwin and a son of the late Harry Preston and Edith Campbell Carpenter.

Bobby retired from NFS in 1994 after thirty-seven years of service. He was a member of the Moose. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, and going to yard sales where he collected many items over the years.  When he was younger, he loved to whittle.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: Spud Carpenter and Charlie (Pauline) Carpenter; one sister, Betty (Dorsey) Tipton.

Bobby leaves behind to cherish his memory, four children: Debbie Morgan, Ricky Preston Bechard, Pam McQuoid, Randy Mitchell Bechard; his sweetheart of forty years, Helen Frost; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews also survive.

Due to Covid-19 the family will have a small private memorial service later.
