Billy Joe Smith

Billy Joe Smith, age 66, formerly of Unicoi, passed away on Thursday, November 06, 2025, in Hartsville, Tennessee. He is a son of the late Carroll Reece Smith and Nora Mae Beals Sneyd. Billy Joe grew up in the Limestone Cove Community.

He was formerly employed at Smith Mobile Homes. Billy Joe loved his children, and he treasured spending time with family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters: Barbara and Brenda Smith.

Survivors include his two children: Joseph Smith of Jonesborough and Jessica Smith of Johnson City; two grandchildren: Liam Smith and Ashton Price; one brother, Ricky Smith and wife, Debbie of Erwin; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Billy Joe’s service will be held at a later date.
