Billie Jones Obituary
Billie Crain Jones, age 77, Erwin, passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at the Johnson City Medical Center. She was born on October 20, 1944, in Madison County, North Caroline to the late James Troy Crain and Ada Wheeler Ray.
Billie retired from Hardee’s where she was a cook for several years. She was of the Baptist Faith. Billie enjoyed tending her flowers, listening to gospel and bluegrass music and loved spending time with her grandsons.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, one son, Shawn Jones (Brenda), Erwin and one daughter, Sheila Jones Fuhrman, PA; five grandsons: Cody Fuhrman, Cory Fuhrman, Colby Fuhrman, Curtis Jones and Clinton Robnolte.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 18, 2022, in the Shelton-Ray Cemetery, Devils Fork Community. Reverend Joey Murdock will officiate. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Everyone is asked to meet at the cemetery by 12:50 p.m. on Friday.
