Betty (Barnett) Hensley
Obituary
Betty Hensley, age 83, of Jonesborough, went to her heavenly home to be with her husband Doc Hensley on August 27, 2023. She was born February 18, 1940 in Pigeon Roost, NC to the late Don and Bertha Barnett.
Betty leaves behind two daughters: Sharron Keys-Smith and Dawn Prime, and two grandchildren Colton Smith and Ty Prime. Her extended family included: Beverly Miller, Chrissy Cable, David Hensley, John Hensley, Allen Hensley, and Kenny Hensley.
Betty was an avid collector of many things including dolls, glassware, clocks, and antiques. Gardening was one of her many talents as her yard was a favorite in the neighborhood. Her family and friends were her greatest love, she could chat for hours on end.
A memorial service is to be determined.
